Belated Wishes

When I see new places, I look for all of the details.

This iron against a fence is very beautiful. It was the first thing I really connected with during my visit to Antique Roseville.

The home had several lovely touches and very elaborate, well kept gardens.

I was grateful for the late birthday reservations and quiet celebrations.

Timeless

I love the spring flowers.

These particular bushes are a staple of my childhood in my parents' backyard.

The adventures that they represent are fresh in my mind.

Grateful and Worn Out from the Amazing

March ended and before it did, I ordered a tiny coffee to contemplate where the present moment has taken me.

Perfect soy foam courtesy of Highland Coffee.

It seems that I live in a dream.

Where the months fly by, each delivering their own surprises.
Mushroom March was quite a month.

Still we move on to the next month with the wind in our hair.

Life can be a beautiful hike if you decide it is.

Zen agrees.

Tea and Crumpets

Suddenly so much is blossoming in my life and it is unreal.

I try to breathe slowly and watch as things accelerate.

It's nice to slow down with a cup of tea. I had the most lovely tea time yesterday.

I chatted with Jan Lantrip and her husband who own The English Tea Room.

It is such an echanting place in Covington, LA.

I think it is important to feel the passion all around you. This place felt like home.

Traditional fresh scones (only a bite left here) and thoughtfully chosen fine bone china.

And tea

And more tea! I was very impressed and inspired.

I was very surprised to see Covington for the first time. It itself was enchanting.

And quaint at the same time.

And this was only the beginning of my day. Life is moving so quickly and I am grateful for every moment, every spot of tea.
