Breaking in my New Bike

I just awoke from a deep sleep that ensued after hitting the BREC moutain bike trails.

We found the trailhead after hitting all kinds of crazy parts of the trails. It definitely showed me I have some work to do if I want to claim muddy spokes.

The day was glorious.

Silently Beautiful.

At times, I simply like to look.

In My Shoes

I think that it's funny that my shoes say a lot about who I am.
I stick to flats. I exist outside of the realm of a retail therapy pair of pumps. I care more about detail than design, and my focus is comfort. I still own one pair of doc martins with a slight raise. I avoid platforms and mostly find myself in gender neutral shoes. I say I don't own a lot of shoes and yet they spill out from the places that they are kept. I prefer to let the earth claim them for a worn sort of look.

These thoughts; a moment before brushing my teeth.

Orange I Lucky

I took a moment to ponder my orange.

The fibrous lay out of it's existence remind me of the common fibers of all existence. From here, in thought, I drifted through the structure of muscles down to the initial formation of all beings. We are all so commonly, fudamentally linked and yet I find that the orange tree is lucky. My snack was the fruit of it's existence, a nourishing treat that can help heal or in other situations it can balance acidity in soil.
I wonder about the fruit of mankind. Maybe we're just not quite ripe yet.
The journey for nourishment continues!

Birthday Moments

Rebirth Brass Band was fantastic and made every part of me dance.

The flowers that I gave my mother in gratitude of my birth were beautiful.

My family and the many wonderful people in my life smiled.

I am so very grateful.

3 45min cardio, 4UB, 4 core, 3LB

Reaching for my water bottle.

Reaching for my steadiest pace. Reaching for my deepest breath. Reaching for my most steadfast discipline. Reaching for discipline. Reaching for a steady pace. Reaching for my strongest stride. Reaching for endurance. Reaching for transparency for my justifications. Reaching past the noise. Reaching past personal obstacles and simply grabbing at what I want.
I am working towards my goals and I am reaching them. More goals, more reaching. Reaching past emotions to an outpour of energy in all directions.
What wonders exercise does to the body.
