Inspired by Lightening

Downtown adventures

Pool view from the Hilton is quite beautiful.

Joyful

The adventures are wonderful as they unfold.

This is Halloween

In this place we call home...

There is no power. And it doesn't really change a thing. With a family member of a housemate working for Entergy, the outage only makes the first day of fall weather more epic.

Strawberry Fields

There is much that is blossoming in the days that are shared by the present.

Strawberry Harmony

Life is quite the bloom these days. The everyday tenfold of unfurling petals is an adventure that is a ceaseless confirmation of coscious motion.

I celebrate life's confirmations.

Inbetween, the Scenes

This life is but a dream.

Just take-take-take-taking it easy.

Transition

There is protection and for that I am thankful.

Today a chord from Postsecret.com resonates within the vibrations of my ways.

"I've finally realized that sometimes you lose the good things to make room for the great things."

Seasons are a Changing

I'd like to live like the trees and shed my leaves.

Best 2 out of 3

Morning purples

Last night I enjoyed viewing Inglorious Basterds with friends.

Here they are in battle for shotgun.

Rebecca threw the finger rock that was still eaten by paper.

The battle was fierce.

In the end Josh was victorious.

Watching the latest Tarantino masterpiece certainly was a grand experience. I find that Inglorious Basterds exhibits Tarantino's gift for displaying horrible beauty. No better story than Nazi occupied France and no better lead than Brad Pitt. The glimpse into this era via film reminds me that even today humanity possesses quite a beast. Consciousness of existence is not shared by all. Yet, there is beauty in all that there is. Mere existence, whether peacful or destructive, is beautiful.

Night Sights

Opening Wednesday exhibits at the Baton Rouge Contemporary Art Museum became a random adventure of the night.

There are sights to see before even entering an exhibit.

I appreciated the art of Kathryn Hunter. I captured a few glimpses along the walls.

Lovely sights.

View from the Top

Oh mother earth

It is a beatiful home that we share.
